Chapter 40

Medium

Notes taken from visit with medium. The discussion was all about what Marlene wanted to relay. The attached notes are a summary to the best of my recollection as no recording devices were permitted.

I also attended sessions with Matt Fraser (1 live, 4 virtual) and was not selected from the audience, but I am not disappointed anymore as I was early on as all of the ones that he picked out really needed to hear a message from the other side. Matt explains that all souls want to speak but those who need to the most get at the front of the line.

Having attended the sessions we hear about loved ones committing suicide, abusive situations where the departed loved ones wanted to say sorry to others having succumbed from drug overdose wishing to relay to their family that there was nothing they could’ve done.

I truly was blessed to have had such a loving and respectful relationship and have no regrets or issues that a communication could help ease my mind. For that reason, I understand how others are called upon.

Medium Visit from Dec 11, 2024, 1:00 PM

Unable to record using phone, I’ll do my best to relay the highlights. I’ll refer to the medium as She and all words from Marlene as Marlene.

-              She said Marlene wanted to relay the fact that she had no regrets and that although Marlene did have some towards the end regarding her past health decisions, Marlene is at peace with her life. Marlene wanted to make her own decisions and live life on her own terms. Marlene said she was blessed. She would have stayed but her body had a different idea.

-              She also relayed that Marlene was a healer and that her experiences from the past made her that way. The need for perfection and control was a big one that shaped her life in an unfortunate way at times. She said people were drawn to her for that reason but made her very tired which I corroborated.

-              She said that Marlene wanted to let me know that after years of not doing what she wanted to or felt pressure to do things in her previous jobs and marriages; that it was with me that things turned around. She said that Marlene wanted to thank me for supporting her fully and not trying to control in any way. She did not like being controlled is how the medium explained it. We can all agree with that I said.

-              She also said that Marlene was visiting, and that Max saw her a few times in the house. I told her that just a few days ago Max was staring at something from the living room towards between the kitchen and hallway area and that he never moved for two solid minutes. I’d never seen him do that before. He’s done it twice.

-              She said that Marlene said she was with her other fur baby, and I explained that Angel had left us a few years ago and the medium was happy to hear me confirm the story.

-              The medium said that Marlene was asking if I had changed Max’s food, and I said yes. She then also said that I was to give him the drugs prescribed for pain, and I said I had stopped as I was not sure sitting at room temperature for a few weeks was good for the medication, but I did tell her to relay back that I will start again tomorrow when I go get a new bottle. She said Marlene said that Max would be here for some time still.

-              She said that Marlene felt deeply influenced by her upbringing and that she does not lay blame towards anyone, she felt unable to do what she really wanted and that of working to make money took precedence.

-              I told the medium about a project I had in mind, and she said Marlene knew about it and that the guides said I should proceed. Will have more on this late next year.

-              The medium then said, “Marlene wants to know what you want to do with the house?” I lost it somewhat because I did not expect the question. Somehow it got me in the gut as this was her house. I was getting emotional and I said I did not know what to do yet and I did not want her to know I was thinking about it and the medium said are you crazy? She knows everything as we both laughed. She said Marlene said to do what you want and that it was just a house.

-              The medium said that Marlene encouraged finding love again and I responded that I was not even thinking about that. She then said that Marlene had told her, and she quoted Marlene, “He can meet someone else but when it’s his time, I’m coming to get him” The medium could not emphasize that quote enough. We again both laughed at that one. She would say that.

-              A common theme throughout this afternoon’s session was Marlene’s wish to say she loved me, and I expressed to the medium a mistake that I sometimes made through the years in ever slightly doubting those words. When Marlene would get upset and lash out at me and while I realized that it was all connected to past experiences and not having security but rather fear I understood fully her behaviour but that it still stung a bit. The medium then asked if Marlene would apologize and I said yes almost immediately. The medium then said then it was real love as for someone in her position it’s very hard so if she said sorry right away it confirms it. I would ask that if any of you feel that your words hurt someone to make amends as soon as you can. This is important.

-              The medium asked me to look for signs and I told her about the Google home device that rotates 40 various pictures equally but that whenever I glance at it, it’s showing me my favourite photo 80% of the time and she said that was a sign.

-              While I did not tell this other sign to her, I did want to include it here. On November 8th, 2024, at noon time, I was having lunch while watching the Price is Right and asked Marlene for a freaking sign as I was getting a little perturbed about having no sign. I then went to work on stuff in the office for a few hours and eventually heard a loud thump coming from the living room or kitchen, I could not tell where exactly it was coming from and just forgot about it. At 4:40 or so I went into the living room and what I saw made me take the photo that’s attached. It’s her side of the couch and I’ve not sat on it since last year probably. It takes a bit of effort to close or open so cannot see Max doing it. Bruce had sat there 5 months prior. Anyway, I’m taking it as a sign.

-              A few notes taken in no particular order, (1) include that Marlene felt safe with me, (2) as a healer Marlene would always speak the truth, (3) Max’s recent weird behaviour could be attributed to missing Marlene and is scared, (he’s taken to sleeping in the hallway and waking me up at 5), (4) Marlene said I allowed her to grow,

-              I want to end by saying that there is something there that is real and amazing about those who have the gift of medium. If you’re fortunate enough to find one, I strongly encourage you to explore this fascinating aspect of our existence.
