Evolving & Growth

This I found to be the most impressive.

We all grow and evolve as human beings and while Marlene had a stubbornness like no other; her transition during the 23 years I knew her was remarkable.

I strongly believe that all the positive changes occurring were as a direct result of her work to know thyself. Her asking the tough questions, her introspection and her willingness to acknowledge mistakes with a sprinkle of gratitude thrown in was what made it all happen.

A few attached documents that speak to some of those areas of introspection.

The catalyst for wishing to combine these various chapters was this very topic of Evolving. While you cannot teach an old dog new tricks, as humans we struggle just as much but Marlene pushed the boundary and for that reason alone deserve our admiration and a lesson for all ensuring her Legacy.

Her courage to reinvent herself with her editing business brought something never expected which was the knowledge and viewpoint of many an author from around the world. This opened her up in a way that very few other professions allow.

I witnessed it all by observing her views on those less fortunate and in need. A simple statement such as we are here for a short time, why spend it being angry towards others in my view says it all.

To evolve and grow is one of our main purpose while on this earth and Marlene took advantage of the opportunity.
